You might make a fantastic member for our team if you:

• Have a true love of all things canine, feline, avian, and exotic 
• Are 19+ years old
• Are dependable and able to work independently
• Have a reliable/insured automobile and a valid drivers license
• Possess personal experience owning or caring for dogs and/or cats 
• Be able to interpret animal body language 
• Live in or near Coral Gables or Coconut Grove
• Are comfortable using an easy to learn app
• Have availability to work 10-4 during the week and a minimum of one weekend per month
• Even better if you have dog training, grooming, or animal shelter volunteer experience
• Are able to commit to at least nine months of working with us
• Able to undergo a background check and are eligible to work in the USA
• Speak and write in English, as our communication with clients is both written and in English
• Able to work through all seasons and weather that Miami has to offer! 

What’s the average day of an Equipaws Pet Care Specialist? 

• When pet parents play, we work! The volume of our pet care visits varies seasonally and around holidays.
• Drive 20 minutes or less between visits within your personalized area determined by your home address
• For dog walks, you will have a walk and/or yard time with your canine friend(s), serve fresh water, and possibly a treat and/or food  
• For a kitty house, you’ll play with cats, scoop the litter box, refresh water, pet/brush them if they allow, and possibly serve a treat and/or food
• During all visits, you’ll fill out a digital journal of the visit activities for the pet parent on our app, and include cute photos!
• Opportunities for additional visits in the evenings and on weekends available, including sleepovers with pets!

What does Equipaws do?:

We help pets and their parents live their best lives by taking care of pets when pet parents are busy at work or traveling.Pets thrive in the comfort of their homes. Our team takes dogs for walks around their neighborhoods, letting them out to play fetch, scooping litter boxes, providing medications, feeding pets, and of course lots of TLC and belly rubs.
